Today Becky and I, along with our dear friend, Ashley, took Maddox and Lucy to the Birmingham Zoo. What fun we all had!
This picture was taken in front of the big ape's cage. Maddox and Lucy were amazed at this big creature, jumping from the cliff he was standing on down to the door of his cage (it was closed) and banging on the door.
It was a rather warm day and he would liked to have gone inside for his nap. Since no one opened the door he banged so loudly on, he jumped back on the stone "cliff" and crawled into a big hollow log to curl up for his nap.
Maddox and Lucy followed his every move, content to leave only when they were convinced he had gone "night-night".
