This picture is weeks old, but one of my favorite times with the babies. After spending the day at the Birmingham Zoo, the babies and I headed for Florence. Becky stayed with her friend Nicole to work more on her Bows By Becky.
We had had a GREAT day, but the day had been totally out of whack as far as eating and naps were concerned. Before Becky even got out of the car at Nicole's, both babies were sound asleep in the car seats. As we drove into Moulton, both were awake, fussy, wet, hungry and tired of being in their car seats.
The three of us had a little talk and Maddox assured me he would hold my hand and stay close beside me if the three of us went inside and ate. It was such fun! Both babies ate like they hadn't eaten all day (they had!). The 2 of them ate a whole Happy Meal! None left on the floor or on their plates. We even topped the meal off with an Oreo McFlurry, which we all three shared. (We did throw lots of that away...............it was HUGE!)
Everyone who passed by asked if they were twins; even Lucy was very pleasant to all......................a very good time!
