January 20, 2009Today we took Maddox and Lucy to Merrill Gardens Assisted Living to visit one of Mom's friends who has moved back to Florence from Birmingham.
Because one of their favorite people in the whole world happens to be their 87-year-old Mom, and.......hey!........these folks look a lot like her, they feel very comfortable when different ones come up to them to "ooo and ahhh".
Maddox just heads out; Lucy, on the other hand, feels a little more comfortable when she's sitting close to Mom. Mom is more than happy to oblige...........Lucy just happens to be her very favorite great-granddaughter!
