On Friday afternoon I took Maddox and Lucy to Diebert Park to play and for a nice long walk. Maddox loved playing on all the play equipment, but he equally loved just running around with all the other little guys and girls about his age.
He is shown here with a little buddy he had just met. After the picture was taken they continued to run around together for several minutes before becoming distracted by another piece of playground equipment.
When we left, Maddox threw his first temper tantrum with me. He DID NOT want to leave and even on the way home he would periodically burst into fresh tears just thinking about it! Lucy and I just sang louder. Never one to hold a grudge, by the time we got home he was his old happy self, ready to see what fun he could find here.
