The pacifer

Lucy has not near the attachment to a pacifier that Maddox does. Although she does use it (at my house) when she goes to sleep, and if she should awake during the night, her other use of it is for a chew toy or a throw toy.



Neither child's paci leaves their bed...........with the exception of Mom's room. She keeps an "emergency" one handy. Maddox is our resident paci finder; that boy can find any paci anywhere. When Mom misplaces hers she calls on Maddox to find it for her........he has never failed yet! This day it wasn't lost, but Maddox found it anyway. He was very tired and needed a nap, so off he went to his bed, leaving the paci in Mom's room. Lucy had a fine time playing with it, rolling in first one direction and then the other to retrieve it. When Mom sat her up the game became throwing it and Mom throwing it back to her. It has just landed from one of Mom's tosses in this picture.
