...............for a small boy just learning to use a spoon. Actually, he'd rather use his fingers, but we are trying to work with a spoon on messy things like this lemon icebox pie that Mom made. Although he's not allowed to eat messy things with his fingers at our house, he is quite content to be fed.......especially tasty things like this. Mom and I decided today to get him to start trying more to use a spoon or fork and thought of no better enticement than a delicious homemade pie.
It worked! He very diligently worked until he got several good bites.
We clapped and he grinned.
Excuse the bib; we grabbed whatever was handy.......never thinking about taking pictures.
