August 12, 2007No need for candles for this boy; he's found a really big and bright light to look at. Always fascinated with lights, Max enjoys looking at the chandlier in the dining room. We thought for sure we were going to get a first smile on Mom's birthday. When he sat in his little seat at the table between Becky and Todd (nope, no picture........too busy eating!) he couldn't take his eyes off of his Mama, and when she talked to him, he would raise his eyebrows and give a tiny half smile....never quite broke into a full face smile, but it's definitely on its way. We can't wait!
Doctor visit coming up in the morning; check back for platelet level tomorrow night (we hope we'll have a number by then; we've never had them checked here in Florence).
