January 6, 2009Today was well children's doctor visit: Maddox had his 18 month check-up and Lucy had her 6 month (I know, she just turned 7 months, but we were a little late with her 4 month one too).
It was a good day. Maddox weighes 26 pounds and is 32" tall; Lucy weighes 15 pounds and is 27" tall. Maddox didn't have to have any shots; Lucy had to have 2 (she didn't even whimper when they gave them to her!). Now Maddox is through at the doctor until he is 24 months old; Lucy has to go back when she is 9 months old, at which time they will do a routine platelet count. They said there is no reason to think about doing one until then since she has always had good counts. We said, "Yipee!" Both babies are well in the 50% range for their age.
